On election day, the voters of the 31st District re-elected Representative Don
Trahan by 33 votes.
This has been a tremendous experience for me. I've met thousands of
people, and most of the business and community leaders in our area.
While the results are disappointing, I look forward to spending time with my
children and returning to my business after more than a year on the
campaign trail.
I want to thank all of the great people who contributed their time and money
to my campaign. And I want to especially thank the people who took time to
vote in this important and historic election. You'll never know how much it
means to me.
I also want to congratulate Representative Trahan on his victory, and wish
him the best in his work for the people of Louisiana over the next four years.
It is my sincere hope that he will do the very best he can to ensure that
Louisiana benefits from comprehensive ethics reform, funding our priority
road projects, and improving our educational system.
